Magic in the 19th hole, or anywhere you carried your iPad!

Discontinued in 2021, iPress stood alone for years after the introduction of the iPad as the only hole-by-hole automatic and manually pressable match play scoring app on the App Store.  It used a unique round-robin match organization feature to let a group of players contest and report match results head-to-head, team-versus-team, or player-versus-team without re-entering any scores.  It was effectively drummed out of the App Store by a couple wanna-be competitors (that themselves didn’t survive) who posted false reviews to the App Store in quantity to suppress sales of the app.  As Apple failed to halt the damage, and The Scoring Machine was popular and included a similar match scoring capability, the app was pulled.

iPress was available only in English, only on the iPad.
