Entering Scores
Golf Personal provides several ways for you to enter a player's round.
The more detailed information you provide, the better analysis Golf Personal
can make of your play. The quickest, and least
detailed, way to enter a score is to enter just the gross total for the
round:

Scoring by Entering Total Gross Score
Or, you can enter total gross scores for each
side:

Or, you can enter hole-by-hole scores:

Scoring by Entering Hole-by-Hole Scores
As you enter scores, Golf Personal's "Magic Tabbing" feature
advances to the next entry field automatically. If
you have the "Color Scoring" preference set, hole, side, total,
net and adjusted gross scores are displayed in color - red for subpar holes
and totals, blue for par and black for scores and totals over par.
When you begin entering information, the
Eraser button will be enabled. Whenever you want to erase all the scores
and putts and reset the sand and fairway buttons for a player's round, just
click the Eraser button. Of course, to remove the score on just a single
hole, select the score and choose Cut ( X) or Clear
from the Edit menu or press the DELETE key on your keyboard.
To provide Golf Personal with all the information it needs to
analyze your game, use the expanded version of the scoring block to enter
putts (either in total or hole-by-hole, like scores) and click the appropriate
buttons for each hole on which you played a shot from a greenside bunker
(with the opportunity to make par) or reached the fairway from the
tee.
