The Calculator

Golf Personal provides a special Golf Calculator that you can use to calculate a player's Course Handicap, estimate 9-hole Course Ratings and estimate Course Ratings based on course length. To open the calculator, just choose Calculator... from the Golf menu. Select the type of calculation you want to do by clicking the appropriate tab at the top of the calculator window.

Course Handicap Calculator

Calculate a player's Course Handicap by entering their Handicap Index and the Slope Rating of the course they will be playing. The appropriate Course Handicap will be displayed by the calculator.

9-Hole Rating Calculator

You can estimate Course Rating and Slope Rating for the nines of a course with 3 nines from 18-hole information provided by a scorecard. You may need the information when building a Club document for these courses. To calculate the 9-hole ratings, enter the names of the three nines, then the Course and Slope Ratings for the 18-hole combinations of these nines. When you've completed entering those values, the calculator will provide individual ratings for each nine.

Length Rating Calculator

Calculate a Course Rating estimate based on length by entering the length of the course, measurement units and whether the rating is for men or women. The resulting scratch Rating may be used as an estimate of a Course Rating.
