Registering the Software

When Golf Personal first starts up after an installation or an update to the application, you will be shown a window for you to register the software.

Registration Window

Enter your name and the serial number for your software (usually on the first installation disk or provided by Mulligan Software) in the spaces provided. If you don't know your serial number, press the Cancel button and contact Mulligan Software for help. When you've entered your name and the serial number exactly as it is shown on your diskette, press the OK button.

Registration Confirmation

If the information you entered appears to be correct, press the OK button to continue. If it's not correct and you need to change your name or serial number, click the Again button and you'll see the Registration Window again.

If your name and serial number are entered properly, Golf Personal will start up. When you've just installed Golf Personal for the first time, all you'll see at first are Golf Personal menus in the menu bar and the floating toolbar palette. Golf Personal will also open the Golf Personal Guide automatically to provide assistance creating your first Player and Club documents - for yourself and your home course. If you like, just follow the instructions in the Guide.

If you previously set different preferred settings for Golf Personal, then the application will start up with those settings. Note: Some upgrades to Golf Personal may reset your preferred settings. You can restore them by choosing Preferences from the Edit menu.

If you ever need to re-register Golf Personal, because of an upgrade or a change in your software license, just choose Register Golf Personal from the Edit menu.
