Updating Mulligan’s Eagle™ to version 2.2.2

This update addresses minor issues and is recommended for users of all previous versions of Mulligan’s Eagle™ prior to version 2.2.2 who are running Mac OS X 10.5 or later on an Intel-based Mac. It includes:

  • Improved Users's Guide retrieval and display options
  • Cart signs for events
  • Corrections to Slope Charts for non-USGA (EGA) handicapping systems
  • Fix for incompletely entered 9-hole rounds
  • Play List improvements - better handling of "default" handicapping authority
  • Correct startup sequence for licensed copies
  • Split scorecard feature

Outstanding issues:

  • A bug related to ToolTips which began with the release of Leopard (Mac OS X version 10.5) and continued until corrected in version 10.5.6, was re-introduced with the release of Snow Leopard (Mac OS X version 10.6). The bug causes ToolTips for certain moveable window areas to be incorrectly displayed at the wrong location or not displayed at all. We continue to work with Apple about the recurrence of the problem. Users of Mac OS X version 10.4 (Tiger) and version 10.5.8 (Leopard) don't experience this bug.

Do I need to update?

Choose “About Eagle” from the Eagle menu. It will indicate what version of the software you are using. If the version shown is 2.2.1 or less (ignore the number in parentheses), you should update your software.

If you are using a PowerPC-based Mac or running Mac OS X version 10.4 (Tiger), you cannot update Eagle beyond version 2.1.6, which is available here. If you later upgrade your Mac or Mac OS X, you'll be able to update Eagle to the latest version without charge.

If you're running the software in demonstration mode, you can update the software, but the amount of time available for testing your demonstration copy will not change. Or, of course, you can purchase a serial number for Eagle.

Mac App StoreIf you purchased your copy of Mulligan's Eagle from Apple's Mac App Store do NOT install software from this or any other web site over your working copy. Updates for software purchased from Apple are handled by the Mac App Store software on your computer - you should not download an update from us.

Is there a charge for this update?

No. There is no charge for this update. The original terms of your software license agreement remain in effect.
