| Updating Mulligan’s Eagle™ to version 2.1.1
This update addresses various issues and is recommended for users of all previous versions of Mulligan’s Eagle™ prior to version 2.1.1. It corrects:
- Handicap retrieval from USGA, RCGA and Australian handicapping authorities.
- Various display and stability issues for printable reports.
It includes enhancements:
- Some refinements and fixes to assure proper operation using Mac OS X version 10.6 (Snow Leopard).
- Added capability (via application Preferences) to turn off or expand tips (ToolTips) in application windows.
- User's Guide updates for these additions and enhancements.
Outstanding issues:
- A bug related to ToolTips which began with the release of Leopard (Mac OS X version 10.5) and continued until corrected in version 10.5.6, was re-introduced with the release of Snow Leopard (Mac OS X version 10.6). The bug causes ToolTips for certain moveable window areas to be incorrectly displayed at the wrong location or not displayed at all. Apple has been notified about the recurrence of the problem. Users of Mac OS X version 10.4 (Tiger) and version 10.5.8 (Leopard) don't experience this bug.
Do I need to update?
Choose “About Eagle” from the Eagle menu. It will indicate what version of the software you are using.
If the version shown is 2.1 or less (ignore the number in parentheses), you should update your software.
If you're running the software in demonstration mode, you can update the software, but the amount of time available for testing your demonstration copy will not change. Or, of course, you can purchase a serial number for Eagle.
Is there a charge for this update?
No. There is no charge for this update. The original terms of your software license agreement remain in effect.
